Shud the reputation system work on images?
Reputation System working on images

So i saw this on several forums, most likely vBulletin forums, and i though it would look a way better to have images as a reputation system instead of just numbers.
I did do this for a while manually with a custom profile, but it takes alot of time to keep that up to date.
Heres a example of what it would look like:
Then ofcourse it would be fun for the administrators to make their own images and edit them in the administration panel.
Something where they can also edit the aternate text of the images.
Example this undernead the modifacation panel of the reputation system:
