Of course you can.

the two way i would suggest is looking at this topic:
http://help.forumotion.com/t262-log-in-form-for-the-faq

Which will give you the HTML for a Log in form. Which you can then use CSS to place at the top.

OR, if you use a sidebar and widgets. Place the log in widget as the top widget in the sidebar, and move it up there using jQuery.

Hi,

Try this. PHPBB3 login on header. Go to your AP > Modules > JS Managment and add this + mark all pages:

Code:
$(function() {
  x=document.getElementById('i_icon_mini_login');
  y=document.getElementById('i_icon_mini_logout');
  if(x) {
    $('#logo').after('        <form action="/login.forum" method="post" style="float:right;"><table cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3" border="0"><tbody><tr><td width="45%" align="right"> Username:</td><td><input type="text" name="username" size="25" maxlength="40" /></td></tr><tr><td align="right">Password:</td><td><input type="password" name="password" size="25" maxlength="32" /></td></tr><tr align="center"><td colspan="2">Log me on automatically each visit: <input type="checkbox" name="autologin" checked="true" /></td></tr><tr align="center"><td colspan="2"><input type="submit" class="mainoption" name="login" value="Log in" /></td></tr></tbody></table></form>');
  }
  else if(y) {
    $('#logo').after('<span class="ulogiran" style="float:right;"> <p>Welcome user <br> You have logged in, have fun bla bla!<p></span>');
  }
});

Change else if(y) part with what ever you want to see there after logging in.

Example on phpBB3:

Remove the first code you added. Try this. Add this to your AP > Display > Homepage > Generalities > Message content:

Code:
<script>
jQuery(function() {
  x=document.getElementById('i_icon_mini_login');
  y=document.getElementById('i_icon_mini_logout');
  if(x) {
    jQuery('#logo').after('        <form action="/login.forum" method="post" style="float:right;"><table cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3" border="0"><tbody><tr><td width="45%" align="right"> Username:</td><td><input type="text" name="username" size="25" maxlength="40" /></td></tr><tr><td align="right">Password:</td><td><input type="password" name="password" size="25" maxlength="32" /></td></tr><tr align="center"><td colspan="2">Log me on automatically each visit: <input type="checkbox" name="autologin" checked="true" /></td></tr><tr align="center"><td colspan="2"><input type="submit" class="mainoption" name="login" value="Log in" /></td></tr></tbody></table></form>');
  }
  else if(y) {
    jQuery('#logo').after('<span class="ulogiran" style="float:right;"> <p>Welcome {U-SERNAM-E} <br> You have logged in, have fun bla bla!<p></span>');
  }
});
</script>

Remove the dashes in this part of the code {U-SERNAM-E} completely in order to work/spell users username.
I could not write it normally cause it's censored here.

You should stay with the version for which you are asking for help or at least inform the person helping you that you have changed your forum version. That would be nice. Wink

PunBB login on header.

AP > Display > Homepage > Generalities > Message content and add this:

Code:
        <script>
        jQuery(function() {
          x=document.getElementById('i_icon_mini_login');
          y=document.getElementById('i_icon_mini_logout');
          if(x) {
            jQuery('#pun-logo').after('        <form action="/login.forum" method="post" style="float:right;"><table cellspacing="1" cellpadding="3" border="0"><tbody><tr><td width="45%" align="right"> Username:</td><td><input type="text" name="username" size="25" maxlength="40" /></td></tr><tr><td align="right">Password:</td><td><input type="password" name="password" size="25" maxlength="32" /></td></tr><tr align="center"><td colspan="2">Log me on automatically each visit: <input type="checkbox" name="autologin" checked="true" /></td></tr><tr align="center"><td colspan="2"><input type="submit" class="mainoption" name="login" value="Log in" /></td></tr></tbody></table></form>');
          }
          else if(y) {
            jQuery('#pun-logo').after('<span class="ulogiran" style="float:right;"> <p>Welcome {U-SERNAM-E} <br> You have logged in, have fun bla bla!<p></span>');
          }
        });
        </script>

Remove the dashes from here too {U-SERNAM-E} as I explained up.

Example of it working on punBB:

- this is a dash, that variable is censored on FM so I can not write it with no dashes here on forum cause it would spell this:
Using php in posts is called being a smart [Language]... Stop it
When you remove the 2 dashes (-) from that part of the code it will work on your forum. When I say work I mean It will spell "Welcome {user.name}"

It should next to your header like on my forum. Add the code and than show me.

Remove the scripts you added one by one (start from the last one added) and see which is not OK an making the others not to work since they get grouped. Hope you removed the first code with <script> tags for the login on header which you added in the JS managment, that would make a problem too. I have the color picker on that board and its working.
