Sure u can , as i can see u have activate widgets , and that really good , si if want to make an announcementson the bottom of the page , u will need to:

1step:

ACp=>Modules=>Portal & Widgets=>Forum widgets management=> and create a personal widget by => Addition/deletion of personal widgets and then press add a widget , and after u did that put it on " Forum widgets management " and should look like this:

Ok secound step:

And press , and

1. Widget name : Ur choice
2. Use a table type : No !
3. Widget title : Dont matter
4. Widget source * : So here so going to be the announcementson , u going to do it like this:

in that box u have to do like:
Code:
<div class="adds65">UR ANNOUNCEMNT HERE</div>

<style>

.adds65{
position: absolute;
top: 500px;
left: Xpx;
}
</style>

And then u have to goo all the way down , by changeing " top " , put it 1000 if u have to , the big number u put the more goes down. and left is for place it in a middle left ori any part u want , if u need some mode help just tell me

Thanks Richard, I didn't really want to do it the way you suggested. I've several announcements and they must all scroll. i know the code to make them scroll, i was just hoping there was a javascript code to make this happen.

I don't know why people still say that things aren't possible on phpBB3. It usually elicits a response from me to prove them wrong. Wink

This simple script will move the announcement block to the bottom:

Code:
$(function() {
    $('body').append($('#fa_ticker_block'));
});
