how to control the background of the topic?

the background of the topic must be black.. but due to long message, the black background have it edge, and it have different color below..

Can you post a link to the topic which has a problem with the color?

Go to Administration Panel => Display => Pictures and colors => Colors => Background Colors:
Table Row Color 1 : Color
Table Row Color 2 and highlight : Color
Table Row Color 3 and separation : Color
