I know that it's possible to get email notifications whenever someone REPLIES to your thread, but I'm wondering if there is any way to get notifications whenever anyone creates any NEW thread on the forum.

I could use either email notifications, or ATOM/RSS feeds.

I tried to setup the RSS feeds, but my forum is set to PRIVATE (guests aren't allowed in), so I don't see how RSS feeds would work. When I add the feed to Google Reader it's always blank.

Thanks for the help! Smile

Oops: Forgot to mention: I'm using phpbb3.

I already have that set, but it doesn't notify me when users create NEW threads. You know what I'm saying?

The "always notify me of replies" only notifies you when you have already posted something on that thread. I want to be notified every time a user creates any new thread. Is that possible?
