Bug When Trying to Set User as Moderator
I have successfully set three other members of my forum as staff. However, when following the same steps to add a fourth member this evening, something seems to have gone askew.
The member does indeed show up as a moderator, and has access to the staff room board, which has permissions set to moderators and administrators only. But she cannot see links in this board, and she is not showing up as a 'special user' like the other staff members. I have tried removing her from the moderator group, and then adding her back, but this did not resolve the bug.
You can see what I'm talking about in the following screenshots:
So, am I just being dense, or is something borked? I even tried adding her to the admin special rank in case it was that, and that did not resolve the issue either.
Please let me know if I'm just being an idiot and missing something obvious, or if this is a genuine bug. You'll find the forum Here.

Hello,
What you need to do is go into the admin panel, go to group and add the user there.

Re: Bug When Trying to Set User as Moderator
That is how I added the member to the group initially. I always tend to go through the admin panel when handling forum staff members.
Interestingly, however, I just checked the users again today, and the user in question now appears in the special users. All is fixed, on its own.
Perhaps there was just some sort of time delay on the user status updating, unless one of you fine fellows or ladies fixed it.
Either way, the issue seems to be resolved now. Thank you for your help. If I encounter the problem again, I will just wait to see if the issue resolves itself with time.
