Resize Posted Images?
We have a number of members posting photobucket images using the IMG code and they are so large that some expand the entire page off the desktop! Is there a way to automatically resize these posted IMG images to say.. 640x480?

Hello,
Go to your A-CP => General => Messages and e-mails => Configuration => Images resize: choose there and save.

Re: Resize Posted Images?
I have a question, if you set the size in General => Messages and e-mails => Configuration => Images resize to say 600 wide x 600 high what happens if someone posts a image that is smaller like 200x200? Does it resize it up to 600x600? If that happens it make make the image look distorted and bad. Resizing down is never a problem, but resizing up can be a disaster sometimes depending on how far you resize up. So I'm reluctant to use that feature because some people post small images like 200x200 and if the forum resizes it up to 600x600 it will look bad.
So my question if you set the picture size in Configuration will it resize smaller pics up if they are smaller than the settings you set for the images?

Re: Resize Posted Images?
It will only resize images that are over the size you set. Smaller images will not be changed.

Thank you it works perfectly. Wish I did that years ago. Now no one has to worry about images being to big for the forum and the pictures being cut-off. Great feature.
