Last question for today, I swear. xD
What is the css code for the announcements table? I want them to have the same color as the background.

Thanks, you're the best.
Can you maybe explain to me how you know this? Or, do you have a good tutorial or something? Then I don't have to constantly bother you with this kind of questions. XD

So, I'am a year with forumotion, first I was on romanian support forum, I learned coding, for first - w3schools.com because one my friend suggested me to learn HTML, then CSS, and then PHP. So, PHP you don't need to learn if you use forumotion. Now, I know a little jQuery. After I learned on w3schools I started to practice, make templates, help people, and cusomize themes on forumotion... I get selectors with Google Chrome and simple know the proprietes of CSS of w3schools. Wink

I did this:
Admin panel -> Display -> colors -> CSS
td.row1 div#fa_ticker_container{
background: #000;
}

also tried:
td.row1 div#fa_ticker_container{
background-color: #000;
}

I knew that the code doesn't work, oh my bad, phpBB2 version isn't so good. But if you try:
Code:
td.row1{
background-color: #000;
}
the background will change for many tables of your forum. Embarassed

Haha, that doesn't matter. I am already really glad that you want to help me. XD

But, I only want to change the announcements table. Hmm.. :s
And what if I change the version (suggesting a good one?)? Or will that cause major problems to my forum? XD

Solved Re: CSS announcements

Hi,

This should help. That boy has a PhpBB2
http://help.forumotion.com/t98868-changing-the-announcement-ticker-appearance?highlight=fa+ticker

See the resault http://cosantoiri.forumotion.com/

You'll need to do a bit template changes on phpBB2. Read my post there. Do everything as I told there just instead of image in the CSS part add color.

Changing themes will do some changes to your forum but there is no need to change the there for that as you can do it through templates.

Hi sun, the part you need to replace with this in templates is the line from 286 to 290. Reset the template to get the correct lines. Than replace what you find there with this.

Code:
            <div id="fa_ticker_block" style="margin-top:4px;margin-bottom:4px;">
              <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" class="fa_ticker">
                  <tr>
                    <td {CLASS_TABLE_TYPE} align="left" class="novo">
                        <div id="fa_ticker_container">

Than it will work. This is my test forum, see http://tiki.makingforum.com/

It's working since I showed you it working on my test forum tongue
Don't say than it's not working. Well it's the proper way, the only thing I can do is to do it for you than. I need the founders account for it. If you want to give it to me that you are doing on your own responsability and you'll have to change the login data latter.

Of course it's not working.

You have PunBB lmao Razz

You should update your profile here. It goes differently for it.

I did not login.

All you need for PunBB is this CSS:

Code:
#fa_ticker_block .main-content {
    background: red;
}

That will for example paint it red. Add in the CSS rule what ever you want.
