Re: Sliding Log-in panel
I want it to be available for both members and guests, not just guests...
For members I want them to be able to access their profile messages etc...
I've had it before but the code corrupted and made my forum glitch out but, I just went on http://www.creative-nation.net/ only to see that it is working again...
Drogba, You able to shed some light on this?

Hello,
Add it to your overall_header to be visable for all in your body section after <body>. For the difference in menus, like messages and profile access for users and something else for guests use:
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_in -->
HTML WHICH DEFINES WHAT MEMBERS WILL SEE HERE
<!-- END switch_user_logged_in -->
<!-- BEGIN switch_user_logged_out -->
HTML WHICH DEFINES WHAT GUESTS WILL SEE HERE
<!-- END switch_user_logged_out -->

Re: Sliding Log-in panel
I'll try that and report back if it is working or not, but for now, I am going to have a nice greek meal.
Will test it later tonight =]
EDIT: Nera, I have done that and it's great except for it doesn't drop down...
aswell as having a screen show for like 2 seconds before my forum loads...

Re: Sliding Log-in panel
If you use widgets follow my tutorial twice. Creating one HTML block in a widget set for guests and a different one set for members.

Re: Sliding Log-in panel
I don't use widgets, I just think my forum looks better without.
If there are any other log-in panels I would be happy to use one...
I just find it hard finding one.

Re: Sliding Log-in panel
well it won't appear like a widget block i think... i think it will appear like a sliding panel on the top... you just create two of it ,,, one for members another for guests... and you can just edit the html..
well that's what i think
well that's what i think

Re: Sliding Log-in panel
In one of the tutorials on my forum I provide CSS to get rid of the widget panel. So it is still available to put things in but doesn't show up in the screen. I forget where and I'll edit this post when I find it, but if you take a look around you might find it first.
