colors for users

hello


i have a question and query

in my forum i have place in the groups section all the ranks for my forum like you have here and i have set the colors for them too and set it to closed

so when you click in the legends are where it shows the admin and mod and groups i have set and you click on one for those it will show a list of users in that group ....all of this is great but for some reason every so often and it seems to be when some one posts that they appear in all the groups previous and also the one their in ..... which goes with the amount of post they have

can you answer me as to why this is happening

i delete them form the group their not belonging to and then everything is fine but when they post they will pop back into the other groups

our members really want to have their names colored and the only way to do this is to have them out in view with the group closed

please help me

This group happens to be auto group? If so, if you remove them from the auto group and the user post another message they will go back into the auto group. This can't be changed.

so if i turn the auto group off ... it wont show the colors ...will it?
