Trouble removing a plagiarist forum
Hello,
Firsly, my apologies for probably posting this in the wrong board.
I have been trying to have a Forumotion free forum removed for a few days as it infringes upon my copyright by not only copying boards from my own forum, but also registering my own brand name.
I have written to Forumotion through their "report an abuse" form, and also sent a litigation message to the administrator of this free forum, however I don't expect a reply from the latter as the forum was last used back in 2009.
Forumotion have not replied to me or acknowledged my request for removal of this free forum, and so I decided to register and post here to try and garner a response. I'm not even sure my message to Forumotion got through as it appears to have labelled my message a complaint of their own support page! I'm very confused at this point.
If someone from Forumotion would please contact me at rodentswithattitude (at) hotmail (dot) co (dot) uk I would be very grateful, as I wish to resolve this matter as soon as possible.
Many thanks,
Kate Butcher

Re: Trouble removing a plagiarist forum
Is this the link you used to report the forum to Forumtion: https://www.forumotion.com/en/litigation/ ? It is the only way to report a forum for any reason. If you used the Report a Abuse button on the forum, that report only goes to the administrator of the forum.

Yes, I used that link and it told me my complaint would go to the administrator of the free forum I need removed. Unfortunately, as I mentioned before, the forum has been dead since 2009 so I have very little hope of a reply.
I used the "report an abuse" button at the bottom of this website, and I've had no reply.
There must be a way to have this free forum removed because it is abuse of my copyright - if Forumotion don't contact me either by way of reply to my messages or after reading this thread, I'll unfortunately have to use more formal means of having this free forum removed. Not in an unpleasant way of course, but it's mighty hard to get in contact with them the normal way!
Thanks for trying to help!
