Hiding Topics and Messages Column in PHPBB3 / Template
Afternoon!
How do you do today?
I'm trying to delete the Topics and Message columns form the Index page. I followed the tutorial and checked the post by Dion as my forum is PHPBB3.
So I've already created the script suggested by Dion. I labelled it HideColums.
Yet, when I follow the tutorial and I go to Display > Templates > General and then I want to go to Edit, it's impossible once this message appears:
I wonder if you can help me with a way to get to the HTML source code of my Index in order to remove the columns.
Thank you very much in advance!!!!

Which means, then, that I can't go on with the edition. Pity!ACP wrote:In this page, you can modify templates and change your forum look.
Modified templates are written in green.
(unpublished templates are shown red) To use the default template again, delete your template by clicking on delete.
Only templates of phpbb2 or PunBB versions will be affected.

Hi, Gassy!
I'm reading your tutorial, which I really thank!!
So as I can see, there's no need of script, is it? It's all a matter of CSS edition!
The thing is, I don't know where exactly to insert these lines you suggest. It's unclear to me if there's any need to remove a line or whether I simply add these lines in a specific section of the CSS Stylesheet.
Thanks for the link! I'll try these steps and inform you whether it was successful.
I owe you a lot!!

If you were looking for templates, then you didn't follow the tutorial instructions! Look at the following post and ONLY that post, and follow the instructions for phpBB3:

Hi, Dion!
Thanks for your tutorial!
I've followed the two - or three - tutorials in different opportunities. When I tried yours, as I said, I created the script with your code. Then, I added the lines in the CSS, but it didn't work. I wonder why...

Hi
It should work.
It does on my forum.

Oh, really?? Great!
Then of course I must be doing something terribly wrong! The scripts is clear and reliable, but I wonder if it's got to do with the CSS Sorry for my ignorance!
I wonder if I need to replace or, instead, to paste the CSS lines in a specific section of the sheet.
Thanks for your message!! :thumright
EDIT: Thank you once more, Martin!
It seems to be the skin doesn't permit this modification. I tried in two forums, and none of them work, which is a pity. One is the Facebook skin, and the other was the Pro Blue.
