Avatar size isnt fitting

Post by Mr. Eddster on Sun Jan 01, 2012 10:17 pm

I have the settings set at 200 x 200 for the avatar, and when a member has a 200 x 200 avatar, it cuts off about 20 pixels of width. How do I fix this? Do I use the CSS Stylesheet? Thanks!

Yep. I guess this is because this. Something like max-width you could have in your CSS Stylesheet. Search it. Smile

Go to : ACP=>Display=>Templates=>General=>Viewtopic_body And here Look for:
Code:
{postrow.displayed.POSTER_AVATAR}

Put this insted of that:
Code:
<div class="ava49">{postrow.displayed.POSTER_AVATAR}</div>

And add in ACP=>Display=>Pictures and Colors=>Colors=>CSS Stylesheet and here put at the end this code:

Code:
.ava49 img{
height: 200px !important;
width: 200px !important;

}

And now every member have avatars 200x200 and the avatar wont be cut it.

And replace:
Code:
.ava49 img{
height: 200px !important;
width: 200px !important;

}
with:
Code:
.ava49 img{
max-height: 200px !important;
max-width: 200px !important;
}

See the difference, Richard? Razz

If you'll have an 10x10 pixels avatar that will become 200x200 if the user will use your code, but max-width/height allow to resize the image if the size are more than 200x200 Razz

Ohhh ok. Thank you! Thing is we have 4 mods (2 admins) who are always on, and the founder only pops in once a week, and he never stays around for stuff... and I could change his password, but then he wouldn't be able to log on...

You cant change the password from a Founder. Even if you try , is gonna give an error.
