Solved Color issue with Jalokim Jaded v2

Post by scandmx5 on January 14th 2012, 5:55 am

How can I change the color of the forum names/links inside of the white boxes (categories) from the light blue to a darker color...preferably a darker blue. This is the link to my board. Thank you!

www.ggtf.userboard.net

When I go to Colors, I have to click NO to disable CSS, then the tab for colors shows up. With that tab it shows all the little paint buckets to change the color, when I click the dark color that I want, it changes them in the little preview pic of my forum (pictured below in red box), then when I click Save and go to my forum page...they're still light blue

I believe Sanket meant to say category title.

Add the code that Sanket post as the title of the catgeory in the administration panel:
AP > General > Forum > Forums & Categories

Put this code in your Forum Name box.

Code:
<font color="#FF8040">Forum Name Goes Here</font>

Replace Forum Name Goes Here with the Forum name you want it to be.

Example:

Code:
<font color="#FF8040">Site Rules</font>

You can edit the color #FF8040 to a different color.
Here is a list to help you with finding the right color code.

}

Add that to your css.

:wouhou: Thanks nick. Now is there anyway I can change the topics within the forums to do the same as they are still light blue?
Example, go to the site:
www.ggtf.userboard.net
Then click "Welcome section" and all the topics are the light blue that the forums were earlier.

I had to go back and manually post the code you gave me for each forum, is there a way I can put a code in where topics and forums will always be the color I specify? Thanks again!

But where do I put it on my CSS style sheet? There's 3500+ lines on there?

When I searched .forum-name a, all I got was font and bold, nothing for color. I inserted the code both ways, and all of my topics within are still light blue.
Edit to add- the new forum names I type are in the dark blue, thanks for that Sanket! However I want to make the topics dark blue as well:

Code:
a:link {
    color: #660566;
    }

Change/add this to your css. This will change color of all of the links.
