Is there a way I can require all new users to first make an introduction post in the introductions thread, before they can post anywhere else?

If so, how can I do this?

Thank you!

Yes, I think ! By create a group with automatic registration for people who have made one post, and then unselect the permissions for all the topics but the topic of members presentation, until they have been registered in this group. Tell me if I'm not clear enough...

You just have to set your forum permissions.
For all new members the only forum you want to allow then to post in would be the introduction forum.

This means new members will not have access to any other sections but the introduction forum.

Now you will have to create a new group called (Members) OR whatever else you would want to call it.

You can set the Group auto-subscribe to one post.
Then go through and set all the other forum permissions for the group as you see fit.

Can you set this up so your new members can only post in the introduction section but can still see all other forums?

I think I figured this out.

So now my question would be can you change the text of this:
Requiring introduction post Info_b10

That says where they need to post?
