Solved Problem with Greek language

Post by Sunborn on February 2nd 2012, 2:00 pm

Hi!
This is my first post in the forum, so i want to say a hallo to every one ! Smile

My problem it comes with the translation of some Greek phrases which make some links in my forum to go out of the template...

For example:
New Posts = "Δημοσιεύσεις που έγιναν μετά την τελευταία σας επίσκεψη"
This is toooo big! A much better way to pronounce this, is "Νέα Θέματα"

Also this is wrong!
Welcome = "Καλός ήρθατε"

The right one is "Καλώς ήρθατε"
(Καλός means good and Καλώς means well)

So, i suppose you will check this, but at the moment can you tell me how i will move this links a little bit to the left?
Actually, to make the distance between "Καλός ήρθατε" and "Δημοσιεύσεις που έγιναν μετά την τελευταία σας επίσκεψη", much smaller.

If you take a look at my forum you will understand exactly what i mean...

One more question... Is there a way to translate the language by my shelf? At least the above links.

Thank you for your time!

Hello,

Sorry users can't change the language themselves. I don't think we have any Greek translators to be able to translate.

Solved Re: Problem with Greek language

Well... maybe its time to find one! sunny
I could do it for you, at least up to some level...
Anyway i think anybody can change 2-3 lines of language, in any kind of code...

But you didn't answer to my problem...
My problem is to move this stupid links to the left, check the image...

I already play with the code....

Code:
#userlinks{
background-color: transparent;
background-image: url('http://i13.servimg.com/u/f13/11/83/42/96/sans-t11.png');
background-repeat: repeat-y;
width: 878px;
height: 67px;
padding: 25px 55px 0px 55px;
padding-left: 60px;
border-bottom: none;
}

...but i could not find a way, because when i change the padding,
it also moves to the left the welcome message!!!

What i need is the code to make the space between them, smaller!
That's all, I'll wait for an answer...

Thank you.

I solve the problem by my shelf, using this code

Code:
#userlinks ul {
float: left;
}

#userlinks ul li {
float: right;
margin: 0 0.50em;
/* Spacing between generation dot */
}

#userlinks ul li a {
margin: 0.05em;
/* Spacing between generation dot */
}

also in the general userlinks section i add this...

Code:
font-size: 1.0em;

You can lock the topic, it is solved, thank you
