Solved Code Help

Post by aowlthd on February 7th 2012, 3:37 pm

While in the ACP, I ended up finding some code for the pages and for registering on the forum. I noticed it said in the code, "I agree and am at least 13 years old", or something to that effect. Because we are looking for 18 and older, I changed the 3 to an 8 in the code. Now the accept button doesn't even show up on the actual registration page, and no one can register any more.

Please help! We need to have this straightened out, and I can't remember how to get back to where I changed the code in the first place.

TIA

It would help if we could see the code or something.

Solved Re: Code Help

Post by Calιbuяn on February 9th 2012, 10:54 pm

Hi-

Double/Triple posting will get you in trouble with the moderators, just to let you know. With no one in between your posts, they have to have at least 24 hours in between them. If you post within 24 hours of yourself posting without anyone else posting after you [in a single topic of course] the moderators will point out that it's against the rule. The edit button works nicely though! Very Happy

Anyways-
I appreciate you providing us with the code for this issue. However, could you maybe provide a screenshot of what it is that's wrong? Just so it's a little more clear, is all.

Hope this helps,
Lock

I presume this is the bit you changed:
Code:

<a class="genmed" href="{U_AGREE_OVER18}">{AGREE_OVER_18}</a><br />

Yup you'll have to change that back. Its a placeholder for where a PHP variable is placed server-side while the page loads. By changing that the inner PHP isn't inserting the necessary stuff.

To be honest, I wasn't trying to moderate aowlthd. I was trying to prevent him from getting in trouble. D':

Darkibara...I'd clean up your own act before trying to clean up others. I've been a member here for a long time. You have NO right to to ask to LOCK this thread when it wasn't solved yet. Trust me, you aren't helping, only hindering.
