In progress Pictures not displaying correctly

Post by loubielou February 8th 2012, 1:46 pm

When an image has been hosted which is large it is displaying but not fully. The right hand of the pic is being cut off.
On a board like mine that i used to go on the page would stretch the forum to fully show the picture, but only the page the picture was on.

Is that something i can do? I have looked in the admin to try and solve this problem but no luck so far! Thanks in advance Smile

Hi, you should consider using the image resizer at:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. General Tab
3. Configuration (on the left, under Messages and e-mails)
4. Images resize tool

I'm having a similar problem. I am a user not administrator and came here looking for support. I posted a picture numerous times, resizing it down each and every time and it would not either stretch the page or display a resized percentage image that could be clicked on to enlarge. We are a new group so I thought I would check in here for help. Out of desparation I resized the image down to the width of our page 600 and deleted all other versions of the photo on the hosting site and it continues to blow it up and cut off the right side. Please help. Thanks, Tim.

Go to http://www.tinypic.com and select the picture. Then, while uploading resize it to about 800 Pixels.. This will resize the picture and solve your problem easily...

Hope this helps Very Happy
