Donate HTML WIDGET Won't Work

I got the html code from the ACTIVATING DONATIONS rok.... it looks like this:

i added my own donation image and changed the YOURMFORUMURL to my original forum url... now the HTML code edited by me looks like this

But when i added a new widget, and pasted this HTML code... it won't work... just the HTML code shows up, not the image.... to see the problem visit my forum here --->

You will see on top left that a HTML code is there.... i dont see any donation button there.. please please help

I don't see the widget at all.

The code looks like he is wanting to add a image with link but forget the closing tag.

Jakeb, your 2nd code is incomplete without the image tag.

I went to ACP--->MODULES--->PORTALS AND WIDGETS--->Forum Widgets Managment. There i created a new widget and then pasted this code:

Yep.. Mine is 180 pixels... i dnt knw why is it not working with mme? i hope someone knows d answer to it...

Are you sure your -pasting it as the widget source code and not just as text.

When pasting it in the box, make sure the box has no editor buttons (by that I mean 'Bold' and 'Italics' etc), and make sure you see a green cross saying HTML in the top corner of the box. Only when it is like that, should you paste HTML there.


EDIT: I was right. Click red cross in the top left. THEN copy and paste the code in.

IMG doesn't need a closing tag.
Thats just in BBcode.

I know but I always like to close the tags just a habit.

But thats not correct HTML syntax. You'll likely see the word '</img>' on your page
Anyway, thats off topic I suppose.
