how to use my own storage space for gallery and attatchments?? Empty how to use my own storage space for gallery and attatchments??

hello
i would like to use my own web space for storage of pictures and attatchments
i believe that on an old forum i had which was hosted by forumotion
there was an option to use my own storage space instead of purchasing monthly space allowance from forumotion
i get some free space with my domain name and i use the custom domain name for my forum

am i mistaken about this, did we used to be able to use our own storage space, has the option to do so been removed??

is there any way that i could use my own storage space please??
because i do not see the point at all in paying for storage space
when i have free storage space already that is not being used.

i have for now turned off the gallery features of my forum,
i would like to use them but after reading some posts here
and having a think about it, i do not see it as worth paying forumotion for storage
i might buy some forum credits to remove the google adds banner for my users,
but that will take 2000 forum credits for 12 months and will cost me as much as i wish to spend.

maybe i will make my own gallery and add it to my forum with the html page management
if i can not just link the forum to the storage i already have.
