Solved Posting links.

Post by Fat Boab on February 27th 2012, 8:19 am

Hello again.

I use Invision and was wondering if it is possible to be able to post a link page that will look similar to the picture below.

[img][/img]

I was hoping to be able to post the Logo and also be able to click on the logo to take me to an external site.

Thanks in advance.

Now, if you mean have your top logo to an external link, I have no idea.

Hope I helped!

If you wants to add this logo&link on the website and not in a post, then you would need to change it to html:
Code:
<a href="url"><img src="url"></a>

post a link page
Should this page be your forum/portal page or simply a html page?
Or if it's a normal post then use the BBcode variation posted above.

if you are placeing this in post then you want to use bbcode

Code:
[url=URL HERE][img]YOUR DIRECT IMAGE LINK HERE[/img][/url]

Then if you are using them for html pages, forum descriptions, homepage announcement, templates, widget etc .. you want to use HTML code.

Code:
<a href="YOUR URL LINK HERE"><img src="YOUR DIRECT IMAGE LINK HERE"></a>

Please be patient guys as I have no idea what all this means..

Ok I would like to have a page that has business logo`s on it (as in the above picture) my members could then click onto the logo and it would take then to another site (I think that is what you mean by a portal page, self explanatory me thinks) Can I ask where in the forum settings would I put the code to change this.

Sorry for being a pain in the behind.. Embarassed

Sorry I should say, the page that I want my links to be on will be inside a post, so people will click onto a post and all the links will be in there,,
