Solved How to change the default font size for posts?

Post by Acsama on February 29th 2012, 3:18 am

I am using this skin for my forum:
http://hu.hitskin.com/search-a-skin/ipvista-138261.htm

My problem is that with this skin the font size in the forum posts are incredibly small. I have a good eye, but it is already disturbing for me as well. How can I set that the default font size for posts can be bigger? It would also be useful if I could raise the font size with which the thread and forum titles are displayed. I didn't find any option like this in the forum Admin. Is this possible somehow?

Code:
#ipbwrapper {
    font-size: 14px !important;
}

Add this to your css & check please.

Thank you, it works!

But the problem now is that the Forum title font size seems small relative to the fonts that were modified. How can you raise the font size for the Forum titles? I mean the forums that are enumerated in the categories in the content, not the main title of your page. I tried to find the revelant section in the CSS, but was unable to find it.

And there is also another thing. This addition to the CSS that you suggested raises the font size for that text that is the Moderator information under the Forum titles, which looks like: 'Moderators: xxxxxx'. Is there a section in the CSS too where you can alter the font size only for this Moderators line? It looks odd in my forum that the moderator info is emphasized that much with a 14px font size, thus the text is larger than the forum title.

For forum titles, easiest way is. Add this as the forum titles.
Code:
<font size="5">Forum Title</font>

For the 2nd issue,
Add this to your css.
Code:
table.ipbtable .mods {
    font-size: 15px;
}
