Spam from forumotion?
I created a new email account to associate with the forum I made here. I prefer to minimize the damage in case anyone decides to hack my forum. I have not used the account for anything but this site. Immediately after signing up with forumotion, I began receiving spam mail for Viagra, enlargement pills, and fake emails from people I do not know. Are the site administrators aware of this problem?

As far as i know, it could not be because of Forumotion. I have a couple of forums on forumotion, i have not had such problems with them.

I also never had any issue after setting up my forum from spam emails.

Hello !!
I confirm that it has nothing to do with Forumotion.
Your informations aren't disclosed to anyone. And Forumotion doesn't send any kind of spam mail to its users

What e-mail provider currently hosts your e-mail address: Google Mail, Yahoo Mail, AOL, etc.

Re: Spam from forumotion?
The best way to go is go with another e-mail provider which is Google, works well with Forumotion and as long as you don't subscribe in any unwanted pages then spam shouldn't be a problem.
