Running: Invision

Okay! I'm back, urk, with a handful of questions I hope can be answered! I saw a theme and fell very much in love with it. So much so, that I decided to Photoshop of what mine will look like; the image of what I created is below, and will be referenced frequently. I'll keep everything as simple as possible.

  • The left portion of the image, (the anime character AND the 150px wide bar of white-washed wood texture). I'd like for it to remain static when you scroll. So while the actual forums themselves scroll, the "sidebar", as its going to be named so, remains perfectly still and fitted into the left side of the site. I'm going to assume it's absolute positioning and using a widget? I'm just blindly shooting with how to achieve this.
  • Going from this, I'd like to place information over the sidebar image, namely text with links, and the user icon in the top area where it appears to have been cut out. I'd assume using the float technique would work best here? This part is simple, though I'd not know where to place the text. Would it also go in the same area as where the sidebar coding would belong? (; ̄д ̄)
  • As for the submenu at the top (where it says Home, Search, Memberlist, etc.), I'd like for it to remain static as well, HOWEVER, beneath the sidebar image (so exactly as the image appears). So if one were to scroll, the submenu bar would remain positioned at the top. ALSO, for it to extend fully to the right, at the discretion of any user's computer screen resolution.

  • Moving onto the body and Announcement area: I'd like the background to be transparent, so this area is TECHNICALLY where the banner would belong, though I would be using this area for updates. (Is this even possible ⊙︿⊙~?)
  • I'd like for the font-family, font-size, color, and such to be changed on the title of the category, and the smaller places such as Threads within, post count, last post, Thu 01 Mar 2012, 8:03 pm. (The areas that use MS Gothic as the font-family!)
  • If you notice, the category has NO borders. Those were edited off because they looked ucky, (*´∀`*)...
  • The markers that define whether there is a New Post, Locked, or no New Post--I'd like it vertically centered.
  • The title of the Forum itself, I'd also like it vertically centered with a font-family and font-size of my choice.

All of this help can be paid for, if allowed. I'm sure I'll be back continually to work on such a custom site, but for now I'd just like to ensure the skin is good to go ヽ(;▽;)ノ!
