you have to enable your forums html

Go to admin panel>General>Messages and emails>configurations

Scroll down and select yes for allow html then hit save.

no go to your profile>profile preferences, Select always allow html and click save.

Now your forums html is enabled and can use embed codes Smile

Hello,

The following code you have is an HTML widget.

It probably wouldn't embed anyway because your code is messed up.

Please use this one:

Code:
<embed src="http://flashgames312.com/1/epicduel/production_game_epicduel-3_97_85113.swf" quality="high" width="800" height="536" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer"></embed>

If you want to change the width of the flash widget and height, just edit the HTML accordingly.

Like Kirk said,
That enables HTML on topics.

If you are making an Arcade for your forum, just make a widget and paste the code into it.

It will work then.

Good luck!

Your code wouldn't work because the closing tag for the embed wasn't properly formatted. Make sure the closing tag has no spaces.

The code he was using, is the code the website itself gives out, so the website is to blame for people having the wrong embed code.

I really don't recommend enabling HTML in the topics as you open yourself up to a lot of dangers... Maybe I can start making a note of these forums enabling HTML and demonstrate...

HTML should be placed in announcements or widgets or HTML pages.
