Solved Reporting abuse by an administrator of a forum

Post by guillyman March 18th 2012, 4:34 pm

Greetings everybody!

I have had my good name abused in several ways by the administrator of a forum hosted by forumotion. I have contacted the Litigation Team to have the problem resolved, yet my complaints have not been addressed and I have not been contacted. I have loads of screenshots proving the administrator of the said forum has abused my copyright, invaded my privacy, threatened me, discredited my name, and worse.

How please to I go about getting these forums removed from the forumotion site, or at least removing the irresponsible and law-breaking administrator of them? It would be nice if I received some communication from the owners of forumotion.

Hi!

If you have the clear evidences, send a PM to Leeloo, but you need to have 2 messages on the forum.
P.S. Leeloo doesn't work in week-end, so send PM and wait since tomorrow.

Hello !

I didn't received any PM from you.

Just to remind that send a report through the litigation tool doesn't give you any guarantee that the forum will be removed Smile

The only thing that you can be sure of, is that the team will treat it and examine your proofs, but the action taken depends on their judgement and the legitimacy of your request.

Thank you everybody for your help. Leeloo, you have a PM. And whereas I understand the actions of the litigation team, how can they make a full judgment when the report facility only allows a single screenshot of the abuse? I accordingly asked them to contact me via email for the rest of the substantial evidence, but this was not done.

Litigation's will not contact you. When making the report you have to explain in as much details as possible, be sure to add any links leading to the violations along with screen shots.

Once again the forumotion litigation team will not contact you in anyway what so ever, they are not obligated to, they are only obligated to take the report, investigate it's legitimacy and to take all appropriate actions litigation's feel are necessary..

Also be sure to give it some time for litigation to receive the report, I would keep a copy of your report in case you have to send it again.
