In progress Direct Profile Link

Hiya,

I am in the process of customising our forums, when I realised that the profile link actually takes you to your settings. So I decided to make a separate settings link and a direct profile link. However I came to the stage of adding the profile link when I realised that I didnt know how to get a direct link that would work for all members. So I was hoping someone here would be able to help me. Heres the link to our forums (you have to be a member to see the settings and profile navlinks).

It'd be http://chimericalcasino.forumotion.com/u#

the # would be the userid. You'd somehow need to get your userid to show there.

Hmm, I had a little trouble with that coding Nera, I did it all correctly and at first the site description part worked as it was meant to. However when the second part to add the profile was added as a code, it did nothing at all.

Could anyone perhaps look into that or find an alternative code?

You can use this:
Code:

/profile?mode=viewprofile&u={USERNAME*}

Remove the * from the USERNAME placeholder so it is parsed into the users name, and then it will link directly to their profile.
