In progress Centering banner regardless of width?

Post by TR March 31st 2012, 5:58 pm

Hello,

Currently when I put a banner larger then my set forum width, it puts it off-center with the offset to the right:

Is it possible to have the banner centered, no matter what? Maybe putting it through CSS?

Are you placing the banner as your logo in pic's management?

If so make sure you have your logo potion setting set to center.

Admin admin>display>headers and navigation>page headers

select logo center and hit save.

Other then that what forum version are you unseeing? I would need to see it on the page.

If you have it set in the template over all header, then you may need to wrap the html code with center tags, Or if you are using css then i need to see the css for it and will probably have to fix margins or auto width = center?

But not sure until i see how it is set up.

In progress All askew!

Hi...
I've got what I think is the same problem too. After uploading my own banner image, the rest of the forum has moved off-centre to the background. Would really appreciate if you can take a look at this and advise, if you can? Thanks I removed the link after update

Update! Solved the problem by replacing the background, but it would be interesting to know how these things can be righted.
