Solved Delete myself from a forum?

Post by Rissa April 4th 2012, 6:57 pm

Is it possible for me to leave a forum while being an admin without the owner removing from being an admin? I have contacted her and she has still not removed me.

Thank you for any help

If she has not removed you, you will remain a admin. If the owner decides to remove you from the group, then you won't have admin access.

Yes, I understand that. But I want to leave the forum and I don't see where I can unless she removes me as an admin.

You mean you want to be removed as the admin of the forum?

Just delete your account from the forum. This only removes your account details. Your profile will appear with the username 'Guest'. The content of your posts cannot be deleted, unless manually deleted.

Users & groups>Search users
Search for your username
Right at the bottom, there is a option to delete the account. Please note, that its a one time action. You cannot revert it back later on.

I tried that and it won't let me because I am an admin and she has ignored my requests to remove me as an admin

Weird, i never tried doing it though.

You can yourself remove from the group. Just delete yourself from the administrator group.

Do you also want your username to go?
