new registered users auto subscribe to group

Can I have new registered users auto subscribed to specific groups I decide by default instead of adding them manually ?

Can I have some rule that based on field in the registration the required group to be registered is selected ?

For the second question, I don't think that can be done.

Cool, followed all instrucutions and when trying to set the auto register otpion in a group with 0 message (so any new user will be registered to this group after confirmed), they system gives me an error "A group, with auto-subscribe, cannot have "moderator" permissions"

Hi, you need make sure that the auto-subscribe group doesn't have any moderation powers anywhere on the forum. Check it by going to:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. General Tab
3. Categories and forums (on the left, under Forum)
4. Click on the permissions sign ( ) on a forum

now another question ... can user registeration email arrive to more than one email address or user for acceptance ? where it is configured who approves new users ?

Sorry, a user can only register an email address in your user account. How to activate them, you should go: Control Painel ->> Users and Groups ->> Inactive users ->>
Select the users that are next to, and activate.
