Simple HTML Template?

Post by Zerotheheroe on April 5th 2012, 2:21 am

Hello,

I'm looking for a simple HTML template I can add to an HTML page and change to my likings.

I just need it to have a navigation bar and somewhat of a CSS design to it, Also a spot for content.

Thanks!

you can search goggle for free for use template downloads.
I mean there is so many different ways to create pages layouts i would need to have a little to go on to give you a couple basic codes.

I would just Google it, you can find many many free for use templates.
all different kinds and most are easy to adjust to your own liking.
Me i dont use them, i create my my own layouts.

keep this in mind though, a lot of them will come with the image files, css and sometimes java files,, so you would have to upload the images and add to the parts in the css, use css style tags or import the css form another page.

If there is a java file you have to upload, use a free java host and that would have to be inserted as well. you may be able to import any java from your java pages management as well, i never tried that and will usually just use a java file uploading host.

http://yourjavascript.com

But worry about finding and getting any templates you like first, then if you do not understand something you can come back here and ask, most are pretty easy to set up..
You can do it all withing this, unless the html parts are set up already? Which they should be and probably are Smile

Code:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>

YOUR HEAD SECTION HERE WOULD BE FOR ANY CSS STYLE TAGS OR IMPORTS, THE SAME WITH ANY JAVA YOU HAVE TO UPLOAD.

NOTE IF THERE IS JAVA INVOLVED, THEN THERE WILL BE A PART YOU PLACE IN THE BODY SECTION AS WELL.

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<title>Untitled Document</title>
</head>

<body>

YOUR BODY SECTION HERE

</body>
</html>

This code above is just in case the html was not set up complete?
But it's rare that you would download a template that it wasn't

then there is always kompozer, this is free and pretty easy to desighn basic layouts.
Unless you can afford Dreamweaver (very expensive) and you have to learn it too.. Sad But kompozer is great for beginners and you can create nice pages with it. And is free http://kompozer.net/ Smile

Kirk, I'm very sorry but I have to say this lol.
Java is a computer programming language, completely different to JavaScript despite their similar names. They're not interchangeable haha.
