Helping Formotion Moderators

I have been helping on this forum for 4 years now. I have been helped by many people here and I try to return the help to people. Its the right thing to do if you have time. I enjoy helping people if I can.

I want to mention again that I have been here 4 years because its relevant to what I'm going to say.

Recently I was shot-down (insulted) by a Moderator for accidentally double posting while trying to HELP someone. It wasn't a real double post at all because the content of both posts was identical. It was an obvious error. No one wants to post the exact same thing twice it serves no purpose. Its obvious that anyone that happens to didn't mean to post the same thing twice. I was insulted by this person because they turned a professional cheek to me and left me a lame copy and paste post about double posting is not allowed..They are full aware I know this. I was in the process of helping someone.

So this person now gets to live with the fact they were rude to someone helping another fellow human being, and possibly they might not feel like helping here again.

I can assure you that slg just made a mistake, maybe he didn't just noticed that you posted the same content because we're really busy! We're not perfect staff members or moderators here and please understand that we're also making some mistakes, nextime please PM Sanket or any Managers instead when you have a question about a staff member's action.

For this issue, we'll just disregard that offense since it's just a mistake.
