new user can't register - invalid email?
A new member is trying to register on my forum but it keeps returning an "invalid email address" to her. I have changed the settings in the admin panel to "user confirm" but there's no change. I have even registered for her using my email address and then trying to change the email address once registered, but that doesn't work either, it just says "invalid email address" still.
Her email address is a Norwegian one eg ki-^^^^^@online.no and this is the only email address she has.
I have had no other problems with people trying to register, has anyone any ideas?
Many thanks,
Alison
PS. my forum is www.americandayvans.com

I have exactly the same problem. <user>@online.no is invalid. May I send it to you too?

If you work it out please let me know lol. I have suggested that she creates a new email address and tries that.... just waiting to see if she does. But it may happen again as a lot of my visitors are from Norway and places out that way.
Thanks!
Thanks!

sigh...same here...I really can't tell all those people (if this is a Norway-problem) to create a new email account

There appears to be the same topic for these and currently our pro admin is fixing it.
