In progress Sign up freezes

I filled out the form, and am stuck on the password checking page. I've tried it multiple times, left it going for an hour, and nothing ever works I'm on a Mac. Does that matter?

This is the page: https://www.forumotion.com/en/create-forum/make-free-message-board-validation.htm

Hello,

What browser are you using? Have you tried clearing cache?:

I have tried using all three browser I have: Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. I have deleted all my cookies and cache in each case. It still freezes on the password check page.

I am running OSX 10.7.2 on a MacBook pro with 8 gigs of memory. It's not my computer, unless you don't support Macs.

Forumotion is platform neutral seeing as it's a web page and not an application. I'm on Linux (using Firefox) and have no issues.

Hey saxblow, would you please explain it a bit better? Does the web browser become unresponsive, or simply not load?

If it is the web browser becoming unresponsive,

Please start a browser such as Firefox via the Terminal (Go to Applilications -> Utilites -> Terminal). Once Terminal is launched, type "firefox" and press enter. This should launch firefox and the logs will be outputted to the terminal.

When it freezes, copy/paste the output here. Make sure to put them in spoiler tags. They may be long.

- Hope this helps.

In progress It's the page, not the browser

My browser is not freezing, your load or "checking" freezes. I can click the "go" button again, and it'll start over. It just stops as soon as it starts. The progress bar gets one pixel in and nothing more.

I have already pasted the link to the page that stops loading above. It does not appear to be anything on the client side. I have done all of the things you've asked me to do and nothing changes.

Hi,

So it's stopping during the creation of a forum? mwii

I've just created a new forum myself without issue ...

Have you by any chance tried using another device, for example your mobile, or a local library?

Yes, let's use another device, why support a Macbook Pro? After all, there aren't many of those.

OK, I give up. Have a nice life.

ForuMotion does support all Operating System platforms, I am simply trying to establish if it is unique to your location or not, as so when the issue is passed up to a member of our Pro-team, she can give as much information as possible, or if she can fix it herself.

I am sorry to hear that we are not satisfactory for you TT

I hope you enjoy your day Smile
