One of my members is having problems accessing the forum. Everytime he tries to log in he gets the following error message

We have detected suspicious activity related to your account. To unblock it, please click here and complete the form.

Click here to return to the Index

When he clicks the please click here it takes him to another page run by onlineguardian.net and is asked to copy the wording from one of those Captcha security pages. He has done this repeatadly and it just keeps taking him back to do it again.

I have even tried logging in for him and I am getting the same message and problems.

Has anyone seen or heard of this before and can help please

Hello,

Did the member got banned on your forum? I haven't seen or heard an error like this before, can you provide us a screenshot of the message and also the page where it directs him about completing the form. Thank you.

I think he fills in the wrong captcha. Please ask him to try filling the form again.

I tried as I changed his password in the admin panel on his request as at first I thought it was a log in problem. This however made no difference.

If its ok then do you want me to pm you the username and password for the member so you can have a go to

Its not about changing the passwords. Its related to his account.

Yes, you can PM me. I will see if the form to fill appears for me as well.

If it helps he logged in this morning fine and has posted several times. He then logged off but realised he had forgotten something and logged back again. He logged off again and 10 minutes later went to log back in to read a pm and that is when this happened.

So he logged off and on again 3 times in a short space of time could that have been the problem

Please don't double/triple post. Your post need to be separated by 24 hours before bumping, replying or adding more information. Please use the edit button instead!

Yes, possibly that could have been the problem since his account is already being accounted for suspicious activity.

A member on my forum has just re-joined under a new name & reported the exact same issue to me. I thought I would check on here to see if it was a known issue. Obviously it is, I feel an 'only topic' is coming on. Rolling Eyes
