Solved Change forum address

Post by Made April 9th 2012, 12:20 am

Hi! I registered a new forum yesterday and was only given options in Spanish for the second part of the url.
That is, I want to change the part of the address highlighted in red below:

elisetestonefans.forosweb.net

Can you show me how? Thanks!

Hi,

Is the language Spanish by any chance?
Please check both your profile & Admin panel >> General > Forum/Config.
If it is in Spanish, change them both to English, then change your profile back to what language you desire Smile

Can you also check the other few lists if there is any English domains, inclusive:
Forumotion.com
ForumotionS.com
Editboard.com
Niceforum.com

Hi Darren. I checked and the forum's language is set to English which was what I wanted, as the majority of its members will be from the U.S.

But when I go to General --> Forum --> Forum address to make the change, there are no lists to choose from in order to change the forosweb part of the url.

Any other suggestions?

The url I chose was the one I mentioned
elisetestonefans.forosweb.net 'cause all the options were in Spanish (I live in South America)

This is a screen capture of the Admin Panel

Is there anything below that section on that page like ordered by categories or ordered by alphabetized list?

I did mean the 'categories or ordered by alphabetized list', sorry for not being more specific.

What I mean by where you created it is say, at forumotion.com, forumactif.com (French counterpart), foroactivo.com (Spanish counterpart)?
By the looks of it you made it at forosweb.net, which is apart of our Spanish service, would that be correct?
