Solved Registration - "orphaned" usernames

I have had 2 users so far who have failed to complete registration successfully.

I have failed so far to discover precisely what they have done.

However, when I attempt to register for them it says that the username already exists.

When I go into Admin there is no sign of them, even under inactive users. This does not surprise me as no emails were generated, ie no new registration or new account emails.

Is it possible to get rid of these "orphaned" usernames?

Hi!

Try it:
Go to Administration Panel => General => Forum => Security => Security Administration => Unauthorize subscriptions made with the most commonly used spam usernames. : No. Wink
