Background Hover Transition
For the topic and category posts; how do I make a transition hover effect from normal to a background hover using CSS3 or JQuery?
Also, how do I make a page transition so when you enter the site the page fades in. And how do I make a page fade from one page to the next when a link is clicked.

Re: Background Hover Transition
yeah crazy request? (In a good way)
looks like a cool code nera provided, but i am not sure how you would incorporate this for only the background?
As far as the page stuff fading in and out when you enter and leave the page..whaaa?? This is not a video man... I am just kidding.
But wow that's one heck of a request, I am sure if it could be done it would have to be done with jquery. There are a few members here that have pro- expertise in jquery and other scripting, So if there is a way i am sure they will reply.. I hope so because that sounds interesting.
Cool inquiry
Thanx

Re: Background Hover Transition
The background animation can be done using jQuery: http://snook.ca/archives/javascript/jquery-bg-image-animations
And the body fade effect, I think you want modal window. Make google search for jQuery modal window, there are many available.
