Nav bar hidden
Hi
Can you help find my nav bar?! There are no buttons displaying at all, like FAQ, Portal, Login etc.
When I go to Display > Headers and navigation modify, all the text is grey and the Picture (http:illiweb) says 'empty gif'. Is this because I changed my background picture perhaps? Any help appreciated cos my members are bugging me for a login button! Cheers

Hello,
You can change your navigation bars on:
Admin Panel > Display > Pics Management > Advanced Mode > Scroll to the middle then change the navigation bars there > Save

Re: Nav bar hidden
Thanks, but change the navigation bars to what? I lost half the skin links when I put my own background and banner photo up. There are no links to the skin nav buttons anymore :-/ Is there any way to find them again?

Hello,
You can change the navigation bars there easily than the other way you're doing it, simple upload it there then save.
Also, can we have a link to your forum?

Re: Nav bar hidden
when you're on that page looking at where the navigation button URLs go click the link that says "View Examples" and that will have some buttons for you to choose. You just click the nav button of your choice and it will add the URL for you, then you click save. Do that for each nav link you want a button for.
Result!
Hold the phone! Trying one last time, I checked 'yes' to 'Force the navbar to remain on one line' plus clicked 'no' for 'Display only images in the nav bar' on the Home Page > Headers & Navigation and suddenly the navbar has appeared!
Good advice on going back to the original skin, and saving the button urls, but you have no option but to install the entire skin and start from scratch. And after getting the backgrounds and everything up, I don't want to mess around any more.
Thanks for all your help anyway

Re: Nav bar hidden
So your wanting the hitskins nav button urls that came with the skin when you installed it? What happened to them? You might consider installing the skin again. Try looking at the skin where you got it from and right-click the buttons and save the URL then add it to your forum. It would be the same URL I would think. If not download it to your PC and upload them to your forum.
If that didn't work and I couldn't find the old buttons I would find some new buttons or make them myself and upload them and add them.
