forum & category ? plz

How do I get a new forum in between the two where the hand is pointing in screen shot?
I did this before but never can remember on how to do it
I want it just below Iris' Always List (in same area)
I don't know how to explain it any better than this...LOL

Hello,

Go to your categories & forums area:
Then click the 'add' button > make it attached to the 'category's' name & change 'Position this forum after:' to where you like the forum to be displayed after the forum > Save

Press the add symbol for General Area.

I am clicking on the general and its going inside of Iris' and I am refreshing after making it

Make sure its attached to the general area(click modify) and position after your 'Iris' forum. > Save

You can see those options once you click the modify button of the forum on the admin panel.

grrr don't know what is going on but not giving me any choices to position after only the general board now
tried fixing it with two other forms and now they are both inside the general area.
is there no tut showing you how to do this?

The forums would probably be under the 'general area' since its a forum under a category you're creating.

ok well I have two forums stuck inside of the general board that are not suppose to be there. how do I get them back on their own plz

Hello,

You have it attached to a forum that's why it's being shown as a sub forum, to make it look like a forum on the index, make sure it's attached to the category name(general area) > Save

got the two back where they should be
the new one I am trying to make. I want it in the same area but just below Iris'
when I do this it goes in a forum of its own
its showing that is is in the screen shot 2 above this one I posted above but look at the screen shot below

It appears that the 'Iris' forum has its own category,so just modify the forum and make sure that it's attached to the category "Iris' Always List" >>Save

No, that's not the part to be modified, it should be the:
Attached to: > Set it to Helen's Always List > Save
