Visiting your forum.
First topic message reminder :
When you visit your forum at first, what do you usually do first?(Maybe, more directly to Founders/Mods/Staff)
Edit: New Question: What do you really look for or what are you expecting to see, when you visit your forum everyday?
I check ''View posts since last visit'' to see if there isn't any spamming. Also, any new updates that I have recently in my head, I make a thread about it.

Re: Visiting your forum.
What to I expect to see? Activity ofcourse!
As for first steps, always the same routine. I'll check 'New posts since last visit' and respond if I can. Then I'll make my own posts for that day.
PM I always do last.

Re: Visiting your forum.
I’d check new visitors and comments. I also monitor the comments to check if there are spammers.

Re: Visiting your forum.
I look at any new posts made by my GFx Designers, PM Box, and polls added by members and staff
Re: Visiting your forum.
The first thing that I do is view who is online and whether or not they are on the chatbox. My forum is generally very active, so knowing the times of that activity really helps me.
I know that my forum is practically dead after one am in my time zone and doesn't usually pick up until noon the next day on a week day. Knowing the general activity times helps--I know when I can do my skin updates and other such coding changes.
After doing so, I generally check PM's, because I get A LOT of those...a lot. I answer any and all of them as promptly as possible and then move forward into posting into all of the role-plays that I am currently in.
Then, if someone is in the chat, I'll join in on the conversation. =) That's the basics. If I see an error in coding, want to update something, or anything that is purely administrative, I'll do that before posting in anything. Same for moderation needs--I always handle that before posting in any threads.

Re: Visiting your forum.
- First thing I do is make sure my forum looks okay and has no errors in it or any of the image links dyed out.
Secondly I see if I have any feedback messages or bug reports.
I check for new members and send them a personal welcome message.
Next I go through the new members to make sure they have an avatar pic and are not just an empty profile.
I check on new posts and see if anyone has broken any of my forums rules.
If so I issues a warn message (not a warn point)to any member who has not had an issue yet (yes I do keep track of who has been bad)
and I finally can cruise around in my forum's world to see what is happening there.
and before I leave I post in my Admin Visit Topic to let everyone know I was there today.
Then I come to forum of the forums to see whats good for my forum and the topics I posted here to see if anyone has answered them.
then I say goodnight and thank you FM!
Re: Visiting your forum.
I look at any new posts or topics. Or think of what I can do to make it better. Or add some new features. Yup.
Re: Visiting your forum.
What I see first is private messages, always have one or two,
then new posts ofc.
If I have some new idea for something, topic or category,I create that first
then I go for messages.
Re: Visiting your forum.
For starters. I see the number of registered users then move on to the latest updates and handle them accordingly!

This are all interesting, it's been a while since I've seen this thread. Well, I actually want to hear from several people though but, I shall wait.

Re: Visiting your forum.
I check to see if there are any PM's for me, then go through and see if there are any new posts since my last visit. Also, I may check to see if there are any members that have joined since my last visit. If there are any news and announcements to be made then I will post that for everyone and also I'll add it to my calender (if applicable).

Re: Visiting your forum.
When I go to my forum, I just see whether there are any new members. There are only 4 members you see, that's why!
Re: Visiting your forum.
I usually take a look at the posts since my last visit first, to make sure I can answer anything I need to right off the bat. Then I'll sit down for awhile and think of the different things I can add to help make my forum better. I am mostly expecting, well hoping, to see a ton of new things answered and activity!
Re: Visiting your forum.
I usually check the staff board first, then immediately check my PMs. After that I'll check for new members and posts.

When I check my forum out, I always check announcements/Updates I have made.
OT: I am expecting to see people trying out things I have added, active staff members, staff members doing their job etc.

Re: Visiting your forum.
All of these are interesting.
There's times where I do this myself.

Re: Visiting your forum.
Since my forum is RPG site, I look for new replies to my charries and see if we have any new members.
Re: Visiting your forum.
This is basically what I do.
Quality isn't great. Spoiler'd.
Edited with PhotoShop because of a few mistakes I was too lazy to actually fix.
