Hello,

As far as I know, yes as I've been on our laptop and not logging out on my test forum and whenever I visit my test forum, I'm still logged in.

You will be only logged out if you clear your browsers cache/cookies/history.

You get logged out actually. It may appear to be still logged in when you come back but your not. If your not active for noire than an hour your account is logged out.

You can test this by logging in, and leaving it for a while. Then opening another browser and visit your forum as a guest, your account will not appear online.

Your = possessive | you're = you are. It depends if you change that value to a more higher one, thus keeping you logged in for longer.

No no no. You do not stay logged in forever no matter what.

The server side scripts will always end your session after an hour at the MOST.
Thus after an hour of inactivity (or whatever you set it at) you will APPEAR offline to everyone else.

However when you go back to your forum, you will not need to log in again. It will appear as if you never logged out, however you were.

If I left my laptop on and now went to bed, in an hours time I would not be in the 'online members' list.

I didn't even mention "forever" lol, you can change the set value of when the cookie 'expires', just use a cookie editor to see what it actually does.
