If forum has new posts
Is there a variable for a forum's status?
In other words, on the main index page, how can I customize something based on whether or not a forum has new posts, no new posts, or is locked?

Do you mean the Icons that tell you whether or not there is a new post or not?
Administration Panel > Display > Pictures & Colors > Pics Management > Then to your right, there will be tabs, click on the tab that says "Icons For The Forum". There you can change that.

Is there anything beyond that, though?King_GFX wrote:Do you mean the Icons that tell you whether or not there is a new post or not?

I'm not to sure what you mean? You can only do so much with that. The only other thing I can think of is maybe moving it or adjusting the position with CSS.

I'm thinking I'll probably have to use JavaScript.King_GFX wrote:I'm not to sure what you mean? You can only do so much with that. The only other thing I can think of is maybe moving it or adjusting the position with CSS.
I was just wondering if there was like a variable, something like this:
- Code:
<!-- BEGIN switch_forum_new_posts --><!-- END switch_forum_new_posts -->
<!-- BEGIN switch_forum_no_new_posts --><!-- BEGIN switch_forum_no_new_posts -->
<!-- BEGIN switch_forum_locked --><!-- END switch_forum_locked -->

Link/Signature Removed
Rideem3, That was not a signature. I used a line break, not sure why I got added a warning.
