Moving users avatars to always be under their name?
How do I make it so that my users avatar always appears under their name (also including rank names such as the one in the second picture)

Hi,
This might help:
https://help.forumotion.com/t53485-putting-the-username-and-the-rank-under-the-avatar
Follow the tutorial but do the opposite. & make sure you change your version

Thanks for the response, problem is I am using phpBB3, it says only versions 3 and punbb will be affected to by templates. When I click the general tab in display I get this:
Any other ways to do this?

Thanks for the answer.
It's really annoying how something so simple turns into something complex. I still need to do this, so how would it be done via Javascript?
Or any other ways?
I found this code in the phpbb community site:
- Code:
<!-- IF not postrow.S_IGNORE_POST -->
<dl class="postprofile" id="profile{postrow.POST_ID}">
<dt>
<!-- IF postrow.POSTER_AVATAR -->
<!-- IF postrow.U_POST_AUTHOR --><a href="{postrow.U_POST_AUTHOR}">{postrow.POSTER_AVATAR}</a><!-- ELSE -->{postrow.POSTER_AVATAR}<!-- ENDIF --><br />
<!-- ENDIF -->
<!-- IF not postrow.U_POST_AUTHOR --><strong>{postrow.POST_AUTHOR_FULL}</strong><!-- ELSE -->{postrow.POST_AUTHOR_FULL}<!-- ENDIF -->
</dt>
<!-- IF postrow.RANK_TITLE or postrow.RANK_IMG --><dd>{postrow.RANK_TITLE}<!-- IF postrow.RANK_TITLE and postrow.RANK_IMG --><br /><!-- ENDIF -->{postrow.RANK_IMG}</dd><!-- ENDIF -->
<dd> </dd>
But it's an HTML code, link to post: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=1701055
Is there a way I can use that. I really want this change

There's no way to do this with other versions, it requires template editing as mentioned on the tutorial.

Is there a way I can change my forum from phpBB3 to 2 without starting all over?

In changing forum versions, you need to install a new theme for your forum, therefore it will reset all the modified/added things on your forum such as banners, other graphics etc.

I am currently in contact with people on the phpBB support forum. I am using the JavaScript option "In the topics",
If I get it to work I can share it with forumotion users.
If somebody here knows the JavaScript for it that would help
