Adding tags to posts

i think this may of been asked before and apologise.

i am a member of a large forum on the internet which gains many visitors and when i did a post this morning i noticed that it allows members to add tags to their posts.

we have keywords on our forums, i am not sure if they help but i was wondering why we can't have this extra feature of adding tags to posts on our forums which i think would be of value especially to those of us who are struggling to gain those important visitors. we all know that these important visitors then turns in to members.

although i am now getting members i would love to see this tag feature added,

what kind of tags?
You wont be able to install your own if thats what you mean?
