I want to restore the skin of my forum back to this:
http://squrclub.forumotion.net/forum?restoration_theme=2

However when I try it, it bugs up and looks like this:

I also tried uploading a backed-up theme file from my computer but with a simular result.

Any help?

Are you installing the skin from Hitskins or in the administration panel?

Go to Hitskins and install the skin directly from there.

Already tried installing the original my skin was based on, and it was still messed up.

Also, it was my own custom modded skin, so I only have the restore skin or .bbtheme to use unless I start all over again. Crying or Very sad

I also tried other skins but they came out all jumbled with proglass graphics.

BUMP

The forumotion skinning is all messed up, I can't use any of the skins. I messed around with CSS options and checked the CSS itself to be all fine, but the forum always turns into a messed up Prosilver with random garbage from a skin I previously tried to install but ended up screwing up my forum.

Icons for all the subforums, topics, etc are fine though.

It seems the only skin that will even properly work is Prosilver, and even only the default one works, because choosing the other colors always make it the default one anyway.

Edit: I found an old copy of my CSS and pasted it. It seems to work, however whenever I want to pick a new theme or whatever, it won't install the new theme's CSS into the forum for some reason. Same happens when I try to restore a skin, it just turns into a Prosilver messed with icons and pictures from the older skin.

This has happened to me quites a few times, where i would end up having to change the entire skin from Hitskins, i could never restore a skin once i change it say from one version to another, it gets all jumbled up and only way for to repair it is to go to the last skin i used.

Make sure after you install the skin to hold down the ctrl key on your keyboard and press F-5 on your keyboard. Do that whenever you see the old skin. That will clear you cache to an extent, however you should clear your cache with a program is the best, that will clear your entire cache. You might not be seeing the real changes you make if you don't clear your cache.
