Credits paid but no update
On Thursday May 3rd I paid 1000 credits to remove ads until May 2013. Today (May 8th) there is a message saying: "The ads will reappear on your forum on 18 May 2012" However the credits history says that I have paid for their removal.
At the same time I paid 1600 credits for the renewal of our domain name but the credits still remain in my account.
Forum name with domain name attached: www.ukchristiancraftersforum.net
Hope someone can sort this out for me.
Thanks

Re: Credits paid but no update
Hello,
This message concerns the previous feature that you purchased to disable ads for 6 months for members and guests.
You've purchased it on November, so it will expire in a few days and that's what the message said.
To check this information, please consult your summary in Misc >> Credits management.
Thank you !

Re: Credits paid but no update
I know that I bought it in November and that it runs out on May 18th. However I have already paid for May 19th onwards.
You have not replied about the domain name renewal.

Please don't use bold or color. Please keep to the default text. This is reserved for the staff for moderation. |
It only means that your forum has won a free renewal due to its activity. Congratulations.
For ads, as I said, consult your summary. You have paid for one more year without ads for members, but the message warns you that the guests will see ads on your forum from May 18.

Thank you. It would have been helpful to know that I had the freedomain name renewal before I spent the money on the credits.

Sorry, what's a PA?
Along with ads renewal notice I was getting a domain name renewal notice. Why would I know I didn't have to pay if I was being asked to renew?

Bernice,
I think Leeloo meant "AP" Admin Panel.

Re: Credits paid but no update
The only message I have seen asked me to renew by buying more credits. I cannot find any message on my AP that says the renewal was free.

Re: Credits paid but no update
You can't see the message now as your domain name has been renewed.
There's no way to check if what you're saying is right because you already have your domain name, but I guess that if you had it for free, you necessarily had the message also.
Anyway, i hope you're happy to have it for free
Since I answered your question, can we considere this topic as solved ?

Re: Credits paid but no update
I am happy that it's free but not happy that I have 1500 credits I didn't need to buy.
Please consider that if the message for renewal is put on the home page of the Admin Panel that the message about it being free should also be placed there - not hidden away in the Credits Management section.
Can I have my money repaid please?

Hi,
I'm sorry but a monetary refund into your accounts/paypal is not possible as ForuMotion has a strict no refunds policy.
Credit's are refundable, if spent, back into credit's, but it sounds like there were no credit's spent

Ok, thanks Darren.
I would still like those that are responsible for the messages being sent to consider where the messages are put. The renewal request was on the Home Page with a link to buying more credits. The info on not needing to buy these same credits was not in any obvious place.
