Add a Heath and well being Category.

Well I noticed when signing up on forumotion and creating a forum that there was no "Heath and well being" category and this shocked me because my friend who's 14 made a teen help forum for teens aged 13-19 and he had to place it under miscellaneous and Heath forum are usually a category with many forum hosts and providers.

Anyway I thought this would a good idea, that's all.

Hi,

Since I've been here and on staff, I don't think its really needed, there isn't a huge area of this for people who would like this section for approving presentations.

Also, it would be best if you add a poll like the rules state. fufufu

Okay well I added poll. Don't see why need two people to tell me that. I also saw no reason because is this not where staff manily decide.

To be honest what about forums for lifestyle? These a classic forum category's that forumotion don't have.

When I was hunting through a lot of forum hosts and various other things I saw they at least had a lifestyle option or health category.

It would also be good if we had it for presentations because miscellaneous category coves too wide a range.

Health and well being or lifestyle are more than classic forum category that FM does not have.

Sure it might be uncomforatble for staff to look through these forums but you don't have to look at every detail. I mean as long as it is not pornographic and other things like it should be fine. A lot of forum hosts have this category.

So what about all the lifestyle forums? Do they just have to go under a category that has 1000s of different subjects. Considering lifestyle is one of the biggest topics.

I completly agree with you, Lifestyle forums are on the uprising, more and more people want to get not just healthy, but actually change their way of life, and diet.
I believe implementing this would be an advantage for not just the Lifestyle forums, but for fellow forumotioners

also we could do with a sexuality one as well as my friend has a forum that talks about sexuality problems and he said there is no right place to out he's site so maybe FM should rethink the list a little Wink

See these two people are seeing sense.

I mean, forumotion is in the dark ages when it comes to things that would help them keep up with other competitors.

I mean I have used a couple and all of them have had at least a category that could relate to health or lifestyle or something similar.

What annoyed me what when it was said staff would find it less pleasant to have to look through the forums. To me, it's not about a select few people this category would benefit a lot of people and when I say a lot, I mean a lot.

Lifestyle forums are on the rise, A LOT of forum hosts have this option, why should forumotion not have it?

I believe a forum devoted to that should go in miscellaneous. There is nothing unique or special about a "Health and well being" forum to justify it having any special placement or category over other forums. Just because you find it important and special doesn't necessarily mean others do too.

Then why a majority of forum hosts have some option relating to health or lifestyle?

Lifestyle is huge forum variety and it's missed out completely. When it is a major factor.
