Solved Forum language: An half and an half

Post by Niko May 18th 2012, 7:04 pm

Hello,

I have a big problem: I founded my forum in February (15th) with the Italian forum board (Forumattivo.it), Then I moved my forum to Forumotion.pro (English domain) but now I have a problem:
The forum is english but the Forum Directory is italian :|

Have a look to the screen:
Forum language: An half and an half It_en10
How can I fix this issue? Razz

Thanks everyone

Hi,

Did you create your forum from our Italian, or English service?

Hang 10, I'm confirming my information to give an exact answer Wink

I started my forum on www.forumattivo.com and I moved it to www.forumotion.pro
But the Forum directory categories are still the italian ones Sad

Here you are the link: http://www.forumattivo.com/it/informatica-e-internet/internet-109.htm
And the screen of the section:
Forum language: An half and an half Englis10

Thanks...

Details confirmed Very Happy

This is perfectly normal behavior, as your forum was created from the Italian Service, you are connected to the Italian Directory. The directory works of the DataBase that the forum was created from.
You can change the languages and the domain as much as you like, it wont change the DBB that your on.

There is no possible way to change DBB, nor directories. Sorry.

I'm sorry but it's a restriction of the DBB's.
These details were confirmed with a Dev, sorry.

Ahkrir, like I said above, it goes off of what database you made the forum on, not the language.

Niko, if you want to, you can ask in the Italian support forum if it's possible, but I believe the answer will still be the same. Sorry.
