Admin Question--Removal.

Post by Derri on May 20th 2012, 3:57 am

If you are a founder of a site and you want to become a normal member how do you do so....

I have read that thread about transferring power. But to me deleting all your posts does not allow an Admin to go from being an Admin to a normal member. What if an Admin wanted to become a normal member of the forums is there any way to do this?

Transfer the ownership to another member. Then delete yourself from the admins group.

However to do that, does it not say you have to delete your entire posts.

You don't have to delete all your posts. Cause that doesn't have anything to do about transferring ownership to anyone.
Who ever told you that, lied.

Hi, Hello

Why not just change the username of the Founder? And create yourself a new account?

As the have said above:

Transfer the ownership to another member. Then delete yourself from the admins group.

Here's the link: http://help.forumotion.com/t81878-recovery-or-change-founder-of-an-account

Attention!
- Please provide your forum URL at all times.
- When the issue is solved, please mark it as solved.

Unfortunately, the only way to transfer your founder account is by the link provided above.
